Description
Overview
At 557 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 28 miles north of Castle Valley, moving northeast at 40 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Grand County. This includes Interstate 70 in Utah between mile markers 223 and 226.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
