Overview
FFWGJT The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Grand County in east central Utah... * Until 830 PM MDT. * At 531 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Mainly rural areas of West Central Grand County, and portions of I-70 between mile marker 175 and mile marker 190.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
