Description
Overview
At 530 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 19 miles east of Green River, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Hazard
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

Impacts
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Grand County. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Utah between mile markers 181 and 196. U.S. Highway 191 in Utah between mile markers 154 and 157.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
