Apache County in northeastern Arizona... * Until 700 PM MDT. * At 254 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Greasewood Springs, Steamboat, Cornfields, Sunrise Springs, Greasewood and Twin Buttes. This includes State Route 264 between mile markers 425 and 434. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Steamboat Wash, Pueblo Colorado Wash and Big Dam Wash.
Instructions
Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become flooded as well. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
