Portions of south central and southwest New Mexico, including the following areas, in south central New Mexico, East Slopes Sacramento Mountains Below 7500 Feet, Northern Dona Ana County, Sacramento Mountains Above 7500 Feet, Sierra County Lakes, Southern Dona Ana County/Mesilla Valley and West Slopes Sacramento Mountains Below 7500 Feet. In southwest New Mexico, Eastern Black Range Foothills, Lowlands of the Bootheel, Southwest Desert/Lower Gila River Valley, Southwest Desert/Mimbres Basin and Uplands of the Bootheel.

Impacts
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
Additional details
- Abundant moisture has moved into the region and scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will redevelop Wednesday afternoon and continue into the overnight hours. Many areas west of the Rio Grande have received a half inch up to 2 inches of rainfall over recent days, so any additional rainfall could lead to flash flooding. Localized storm amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible with the strongest storms and where storms redevelop over the same area. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
