Overview
SMWCHS The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a * Special Marine Warning for... Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 60 NM... * Until 1045 AM EDT. * At 1007 AM EDT, showers producing waterspouts were located along a line from near Beaufort 45 Feet Reef to 8 NM south of Betsy Ross Reef, moving southwest at 10 knots.

Emergency management reported. At 1003 AM, Hilton Head Emergency Management relayed a video of a large waterspout just offshore of Hilton Head. While this waterspout has dissipated, additional waterspouts are possible.
Impacts
Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas.

Hilton Head Reef, Beaufort 45 Feet Reef, General Gordon, Betsy Ross Reef, Gaskins Bank Wreck, Gaskin Banks, Fish America, Whitewater Reef and Calibogue Sound.
