Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Additional details

- Light to moderate rain will fall this morning becoming a bit less common this afternoon. However, heavy rainfall is forecast to move back into the area late Tuesday night into Wednesday, especially over far southern Iowa.
